In our children's Passport to Odyssey program, explore the Bible by taking a weekly journey to the Holy Lands. Children will begin in the Sanctuary Sunday mornings where they'll enjoy the first few songs of our Modern Worship service before being dismissed to travel back in time through our Odyssey Hallway at 9 am. For children not attending Modern Worship, please check in with our Odyssey volunteer in the Narthex before proceeding to the Fellowship Hall. Children may enter the Odyssey Hall near the kitchen no earlier than 9 am.
Children ages 3 through 12 will be split into groups based on age and travel through the Synagogue where they'll hear the lesson of the day, the marketplace where they'll do a craft related to the story, and the Day Tours room where they'll get to participate in a reenactment of the lesson. We now have a designated pre-K room for children under 5 with crafts and activities specifically designed for our littlest travelers.
We're always looking for volunteers to join the team and help us teach our students. Email chelsey@stlukesreno.org for details.
