Our New Sunday Morning Schedule
Worship, Community, and Growing in Faith
Dear St. Lukes Family,
We’re excited to roll out a refreshed Sunday morning schedule, one shaped by your feedback, grounded in our mission, and full of opportunities to grow in worship, learning, and fellowship.
Worship Services
Modern Service: 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM
Traditional Service: 11 AM – 12 PM
Fellowship & Education | Fellowship Hall
Fellowship Time: 9:15 AM – 9:45 AM
Education Hour (all ages): 9:45 AM – 10:45 AM
Transition Fellowship: 10:45 AM – 11:00 AM
Odyssey: Children’s Ministry
During Education Hour, children will participate in Odyssey, our vibrant learning experience just for them!
- Sign-In: Families can check in at the booth in the narthex starting before first service. Then again from 9:20-9:40am
- Line-Up: At 9:40 AM, children will gather at the doors by the Fellowship Hall kitchen and head down with their leaders.
- Pick-Up: Guardians will use the same process to pick up children at 10:45 AM. This allows the whole family to learn and grow at the same time.
Why the Update?
We made these changes based on what you told us matters:
- Modern Service remains at 8:30 AM: Many of you shared that going earlier would make it difficult to attend or volunteer. We’re grateful to keep it right where it’s been working best.
- Later Traditional Service at 11 AM: Provides the later time slot, accessibility and a restful pace for those attending. (Though coming to church at 9:15 AM means the perfect morning of rest, then fellowship, Bible study, & worship! Maybe make a lunch date with friends!!)
- Built-in Fellowship and Learning Time: Many people expressed a desire for time to fellowship. This schedule, while creating some overlap, makes space for you to pick your Sunday morning schedule and not have to be at Church several hours. Creating natural space to connect, grow, and engage with others throughout the morning.
Parking: Help Us Help Each Other
We have plans in place if parking becomes a challenge, and we’re watching it closely.
If you notice any issues and or specific needs around parking or the parking lot, please don’t hesitate to contact church office or make one of our Ministry Directors aware. We want to respond quickly to ensure that everyone is able to attend service and feels welcome from the moment they arrive.
We’re thankful to walk forward together - worshiping, learning, and loving one another each step of the way.
In His Service,
Pastor Joshua & The Board of Ministry Directors
