DESCRIPTION:Dear Members of St. Lukes\,\nAs previously announced\, a Specia
 l Congregational Meeting of St. Lukes Lutheran Church will be held on Sund
 ay\, August 30\, 2026\, following the Unity Service in the Sanctuary. The 
 purpose of this meeting is to consider and vote on the pastoral candidates
  presented by the Call Committee.\nConfirmation of the Special Congregatio
 nal Meeting\nThe St. Lukes Constitution provides that the President may ca
 ll a special meeting of the congregation. In my capacity as President of t
 he Administrative Council\, I hereby formally confirm the Special Congrega
 tional Meeting previously announced to the congregation. The date\, time\,
  location\, and purpose of the meeting remain unchanged.\nThe two pastoral
  candidates to be considered are:\n\nRev. John A. Dehne\nRev. Nycholas C. 
 Greig\n\nAttached to this email are:\n\nThe Agenda for the Special Congreg
 ational Meeting\nPastoral Candidate Information\n\nWe encourage all voting
  members to review these materials carefully in advance of the meeting.\nI
 n addition\, Wes Sheaffer will be setting up equipment in the Fellowship H
 all so that members will have an opportunity during fellowship hour Sunday
 \, August 23 to view a sermon from each pastor. We hope this will provide
  another opportunity for members to become familiar with the candidates pr
 ior to the congregational meeting.\nWe respectfully ask all voting members
  to make every effort to attend this important meeting in person. For thos
 e who are unable to attend\, proxy voting will be available. In accordance
  with our proxy policy\, a Confirmed Member who is unable to attend may de
 signate another Confirmed Member to act as their proxy for purposes of vot
 ing at the meeting.\nThe selection of our next pastor is an important deci
 sion in the life and future of St. Lukes. We look forward to coming togeth
 er in prayer and thoughtful consideration as we discern God's direction fo
