Join together on Good Friday evening for a Tenebrae service as we reflect on Christ's last moments as he died on the cross. "Tenebrae" is the Latin word meaning "darkness." The service of Tenebrae is also known as the service of shadows. Through Scripture, music, and darkness, we will experience the Passion of our Lord ending with the strepitus (sound representing the closing of the tomb). We will exit in silence to ponder the impact of Christ’s death as we await the celebration of His coming resurrection. We will not have nursery care offered for this service.
